For some reason today I woke up thinking about family traditions and how important they are to me. It’s been very hard with Lilli to attend church or go to family functions with fear of illness around every corner but I’m starting to realize that we cannot “avoid life”. I want Lilli to have traditions and great memories of her childhood not only remembering being in the Hospital or stuck at home. On this Easter I’m pledging to “start anew” with attempting to be more open and less fearful of germs.
So today we are putting on our Easter gear and heading to my family get together! Take that FEAR.
