Oh my, Lilliana's heart cath is only one week away. The word unprepared doesn't even come close to describe how I'm feeling.
This cath will provide some answers for what is to come. There is now concern that she may need TWO open heart surgeries, one to repair her "leaky valve" and then another to perform her "fontan".
It has been over 3 years sense Lilli has had ANY invasive medically happen. Just X-rays, echos... nothing that hurts. I'm petrified at how she will handle it all. Now she can say "mommy it hurts", "why are they doing this", "dont let them hurt me"...... I could vomit!
Prayers for peace are needed.
